Traineeship in retailing

Job description
The world of KARE's lifestyle trends is very varied and the sections in which you can work in retailing are just as varied. At KARE you will carry out commercial operations in the shop and work on your own initiative in sales, creativity, ordering, stores management and customer service.

Training
Per year KARE has 4-6 opportunities for training in Munich. As a rule training leading to chamber of commerce qualifications takes 3 years. During this time trainees will get to know all operation sections at the various KARE shops, with the KARE furnishing boutiques and furniture stores offering very different conditions.

Requirements
To apply for a traineeship in retailing you require a good school leaving certificate from the 'Hauptschule' or a 'Mittlere Schulabschluss' with good grades in German, maths and English. Computer skills and commercial knowledge will be useful, as well as any practical experience acquired in work experience. You must enjoy working in a team, get on well with people and be able to develop a passion for furnishing trends.

Application
Your application should include a letter of application, a c.v. and reports from school and any work experience. You should give brief reasons why you are interested in a traineeship with KARE. A list of suitable applicants will then be made and chosen candidates will be invited to a selection day. The next date for employment is 1 September 2010 and applications must be received by June 2010.
