Born in Munich, she has made a home for herself in the popular district of Schwabing – this is where she lives with her four-legged friend and tells us what is important to her when she chooses her feel-good furniture. Her furnishing motto? “I love neutral colours and enjoy combining them with gaudy accessories. My favourite colour is red. It gives me energy for my work in my home office, and is a great contrast to high- quality basics in cream and black and white.” Her most important room is the living room – here Joy likes to receive guests in the evening and it’s where she posts on the KARE Instagram and Pinterest accounts during the day. “Order is particularly important to me here, but inspiration also plays an important role.
