Materials define not only the look of a product, but also its feel, durability, and emotional impact. At KARE Design, we carefully select materials that combine aesthetics, functionality, and craftsmanship, allowing each piece of furniture, lighting, and décor to express its unique identity.

Solid wood, wood veneer, wood materials, and boards form the basis of many furniture pieces, from tables, cabinets, and shelves to beds and storage solutions, offering warmth, structure, and natural character. Metal is used to create strong frames, legs, accents, and lighting elements, adding contrast, durability, and a modern edge.

For seating and comfort-focused designs, we use real leather, textile upholstery, upholstery foam, and in selected pieces, real fur, ensuring both visual appeal and everyday comfort in sofas, armchairs, chairs, and cushions. These materials enhance tactile experience and contribute to long-lasting quality.

Decorative and functional elements often feature glass, ceramics, and plastic, used in lighting, tableware, accessories, and accent furniture. Glass adds transparency and lightness, ceramics introduce texture and artistic expression, while plastic allows for bold forms, colors, and innovative design solutions.

Our collections also incorporate wood veneer for refined surfaces and detailing, as well as carefully processed wood materials that ensure stability and sustainability without compromising design. Each material is chosen to serve a purpose — whether structural, decorative, or tactile.
