Ethno-elements are an easy stylistic device to set up a simple and summerly ambience. Our stylists have been inspired by shady oases and cozy nomad tents for the new Gobi trend show.

Beautiful and unusual surfaces for dressers and side tables, handcrafted details on cabinets and warm colors for the cushions and carpets add a touch of Orient to the living room. The meditative Desert Look is also perfect for taking over the bedroom, because the soft colors and natural materials are balm for the soul.

With the right material mix you’re quickly on the track to the new ethno look: Mix wooden furniture with metal, preferably in antique look or embossed to the side. For example a finely engraved, round table or opulent, large vases with an antique gold plating. Accessories or lamps with glass or wooden beads, chests, stools and benches made of natural materials such as hemp, raffia or basket top off the look.

Whoever is brave, relies on key pieces such as the dressers of the Alhambra series. Its embossed front sides are a tribute to the graphic pattern of the Orient and the silver paint finish shimmers mysteriously. Arrange lanterns in groups, always in odd numbers, on furniture and window sills. In addition, you can put your best vacation souvenir in scene: Ceramic bowls, driftwood, decorative feathers – whatever you love.

For the floor we love carpets in Vintage style, made of coarser natural materials or fur – all kept harmoniously in earth tones. Deco professionals arrange rugs side by side, overlapping at the edges. Combine them with seat cushions and stools. On the walls your holiday photos are now taking a major role. Casual: A long beach dress on a hanger at the wall. Artful: Dress one complete wall with gold or silver leaf.
