Our Interior Designers offer a personalized service that will guide you through the entire process from planning to those final few accessories.
Complimentary In-store Interior Design Consultation
KARE Vancouver is pleased to offer Interior Design Service as part of our customer service including:
1. INITIAL CONSULTATION
Contact one of our designers and schedule an initial consultation. This can be in person at the store or virtually, you decide. This will help us get to know your style, lifestyle considerations, and project overview.
2. SPACE PLANNING
After creating a floor plan, we together create a space that works for you and functions the way it needs to for your lifestyle.
3. DEVELOPMENT OF DESIGN CONCEPTS
Our designers will then select furniture and accessories that match your lifestyle and budget. They will then present you with all the item, textile and color options that are best suited to you.

We charge an initial interior design fee of $250, which will be credited back to your purchase. Our Interior Design service does not include Window Coverings, Flooring and entire renovations.
Meet the Designer
Lily Tang
Lead Interior Designer
Good design realises the potential of any space. As a designer, I have a strong understanding of how interiors come together, from the architecture of a space to the furniture and soft furnishings that fill it. Colour palette, material choice and finishes are all equally important – each element is essential to creating one cohesive look that is both resolved and innovative.
On a personal level, I have an immense appreciation for a range of design periods and styles. For me, spaces truly work when balance is created through contrast – and tells a story about the people who inhabit them.
Born in Beijing and raised in Shanghai, I hold two design degrees – a Bachelor of Fashion Design at Institute Technology and Bachelor of Interior Design at Raffles Design Institute, Singapore. I am formally educated and trained in an industry that I truly love.
Personal interests include Photography, Chinese Painting and Calligraphy, Ballet, Jazz dance and Yoga (RYT 200 certified).
I’ve been fortunate enough to work with some exceptional clients on projects that span from residential interior design and refurbishments to customs procurement and commercial applications. I spent over 10 years working in the graphic – and product Design industry, as a Senior Interior Designer where I built a comprehensive portfolio that displays my ability to work across a range of interior genres.
As an interior designer, I design ultimately for my clients. This flexibility, along with an ever-changing industry, imbues me with an innate sense of creative freedom. Today, contemporary design has to encompass several key factors: Social lifestyle, financials and importantly, environmental points of view, all needs to be addressed by client and designer, together.
